Inspired by the original German MAYDAY movement\, it introduced the scale and intensity of a major arena rave to a rapidly developing Polish electronic scene. Its enduring philosophy\, “Forward Ever\, Backward Never”\, continues to connect the event’s heritage with the sounds defining contemporary dancefloors. \nThe confirmed line-up spans techno\, hard techno and powerful underground electronics across the Arena and Showroom. Richie Hawtin leads an impressive international programme alongside Collabs 3000\, the collaborative project of Chris Liebing and Speedy J. Other Arena highlights include Anfisa Letyago\, Anna Reusch\, Giorgia Angiuli performing live\, Klaudia Gawlas\, Mha Iri\, PETDuo\, Peter Pahn\, Anhedash\, Michał Lazar and the traditional Friends of MAYDAY performance. \nThe Showroom pushes the intensity even further with Alignment\, Shlømo\, Fatima Hajji\, Carla Roca\, A.N.I.\, Mislaw\, Ueberrest and a four-deck performance from Fernanda Martins and Lukas. Together\, the two areas create a journey from hypnotic and driving techno to faster\, heavier sounds built for the deepest hours of the night. \nSpodek’s distinctive flying-saucer architecture is central to the MAYDAY experience. Inside\, monumental stage design\, powerful sound\, lasers and carefully programmed lighting transform the arena into a futuristic rave environment. When thousands of raised hands answer the familiar MAYDAY call\, the venue becomes a single moving community. \nFood points inside Spodek serve hot and cold snacks alongside drinks.
