Tips for Cheap Flights
When to Fly
1. Book your Flight Midweek
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays flights are often half-full. Most people travel on other days, more cheap seats are available at midweek.
2. Book at least 3 months in advance
The cheapest airfares are sold first. As long as you wait to book your ticket, it becomes more expensive. So smart booking means, to book your flight at least 3 months in advance.
What to Do
3. Combine Airlines
If it’s possible to combine airlines and it doesn’t hurt your route, you might get a better price and maybe see another city.
4. Check all Airports
The big international airports in all major cities have high taxes and fees. Small airports are much cheaper, thus lower airfares.

5. Be flexible with your Dates
Use the “Price Calendar” on top of the results, in the flights search page. It will show you, if price is cheaper, 1 or 2 days before or after your planned dates. There is a chance to find lower airfares by moving your trip a couple of days.
