Project Description

Paris

What can be better than a Paris getaway! One of the most picturesque cities, offering one stunning vista after another, from the epic Eiffel Tower to the regal Jardin des Tuileries, to the petite cafés and romantic bistros bursting onto the sidewalks, offering glorious artisanal dishes.

Beyond the city’s visual appeal, the cultural riches of the French capital are unsurpassed. With an illustrious artistic pedigree signed by Renoir, Picasso, Monet, Dali and Van Gogh, the city is opt to allure you into its magic. Whether you opt to explore the historic, fashion-conscious, bourgeois, or bohemian and arty sides of Paris, one thing is certain: the City of Light will always enthrall.

Whether you are visiting for sightseeing, shopping, local cuisine, the City of Light will thrill you. Lounge in local cafes overlooking the river Seine, listen to the bells of Notre Dame, stroll around the Luxembourg Gardens and visit the magnificent Musée du Louvre. Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées are only some of the city’s sensations. Paris’ cityscape isn’t static: there are some stunning modern and contemporary icons too, like the industrial-style Centre Pompidou, the mur végétal  (vertical garden) and the striking Musée du Quai Branly.

Best Time to visit

Paris is an all-season city, but the best time to visit is late spring, summer and the Christmas holidays. During the high-season in the summer, flights and hotels are fairly expensive, therefore it is advised to book in advance, both for your stay and the popular attractions. If you prefer spending your money on french croissants, you should consider getting there in the winter, avoiding January as it hosts the Fashion week and hotel rates are higher.

Budget Hotels Areas

Paris offers accommodation for every occasion, camp sites outside the city and hostels for the budget travellers, to boutique and luxurious 5-star hotels. Hotel prices vary, and depend on location. The older the hotel and closer to the city centre, the higher the price. The suburbs are a good choice for budget travellers, where you can use the city’s public transport networks for some additional savings. Consider the Latin Quarter and Montmartre as another budget option.
