Download Festival is the UK’s number one rock and metal festival, consistently showcasing the scene’s very best artists at its iconic Donington Park site each June.

Recent lineups have featured sets from the likes of Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool, showing off exactly why Download has become a festival pilgrimage for many.

In addition to the music, Download has regularly partnered up with wrestling brands including WWE and NXT UK to bring some of the sport’s superstars to the festival, while the infamous inflatable Wedding Chapel, Circus of Horrors and musical comedy continue to entertain.

And once the Arena’s music has finished, the campsite’s afterhours zone keeps things running until 2am on Friday and Saturday with bars, funfair rides and even a cinema. Donington Park, home to Download since its first edition back in 2003, is famed for its famous race track which hosts a number of international motorcycle racing events.

Download Festival 2020 was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Ticket-holders have the option to roll their ticket over to the 2021 edition. You can read the full statement from the festival here

If you are an environmentally friendly rocker then the Eco camp is the place for you. All you need is basic camping gear, like a tent, a camping pad and a head torch (so useful in the night).
