PAROOKAVILLE Festival 2025: The City of Dreams
Parookaville 2026 throws open the gates of its “City of Dreams” at Airport Weeze, Germany from 17–19 July 2026, inviting citizens new and old to a weekend of madness, love and pure happiness. Staged on a live airfield between Düsseldorf and the Dutch border, Parookaville is Germany’s biggest electronic music festival and one of Europe’s most imaginative — a temporary city with its own lore, landmarks and rituals.
What sets Parookaville apart is its world-building. Step through the City Gate to get your passport stamped at the Townhall, mail a postcard from the DHL Post Office, tie the knot (seriously) at the Warsteiner Parooka Church, or even commit to a memory in ink at the festival Jail. Cool off in the 700 m² pool at the Bermuda Quadrangle, wander the shady City Forest, and chase sunset sessions out at Desert Valley — playful touches that make the site feel like an eccentric theme-park for dance lovers.
Across the grounds, stages double as districts in this fictional metropolis. Lose yourself at the cinematic Mainstage, dive into industrial hedonism at Bill’s Factory, float through the hangar-style Cloud Factory, get super-charged at the Power Plant, bend time in the Time Lab, or squeeze into the bunker-like Brainwash for confetti-soaked mayhem. Line-up announcements land closer to summer, but the curation reliably spans big-room EDM, house and techno through to harder styles and left-of-centre takeovers — all delivered with precision sound, pyros and larger-than-life set pieces.
Staying on site is part of the adventure. Choose classic Base Camp, quieter Green Camp, pre-pitched Easy Camp, or roll in with your crew to the Caravan Empire and build your 75 m² home-from-home. If you fancy creature comforts, the Glamping Resort (Comfort and Deluxe) adds real beds, lounges and dedicated facilities. Handy marketplaces — including a full PENNY supermarket — keep supplies flowing between sunrise and afters.
Getting there is straightforward: ride regional trains to Weeze (RE10 from Düsseldorf, with special services on festival weekend) and hop the official chargeable shuttle from the station to the site; drivers and flyers can route via Weeze Airport with dedicated transport options. Note that Parookaville is an 18+ event.
Tickets for 2026 move in waves — with the limited pre-sale already snapped up and the regular sale slated for October 2025 — so register and plan your “visa” early. When you finally step into the city, expect three days of high-octane sets, whimsical side-quests and a crowd that lives the story as hard as it dances.
