Y Not Festival is an independent UK music festival, showcasing a lineup of rock, indie and alternative music in the heart of the Peak District in August 2024.
Expect a line-up you won’t see anywhere else in the Peak District, alongside panoramic country views. Each year Y Not Festival see some of the biggest names in Indie, Rock & Pop. Pikehall has played home to artists from Noel Gallagher to Snoop Dogg.
It’s not just about the music. Y Not is a jam-packed weekend with countless things to do. From comedy, paint fights and carnivals to in-house cinema, plus a top secret venue thrown in for good measure, you won’t want Monday to roll around! All you need to bring is yourself, some wellies, a killer fancy dress outfit and a strong appreciation of colour.

Accommodation
Camping during the festival is included with the Weekend Camping Ticket. All you need is basic camping gear, like a tent, a camping pad and a head torch (so useful in the night). If you don’t want to bring your own tent, the festival offers Pre-pitched tents and Glambing options.

BY COACH
Travel by coach right to the Y Not site with Big Green Coach. Weekend return coach travel is available from: Bradford, Barnsley, Birmingham, Chesterfield, Derby, Doncaster, Grimsby, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London (Victoria Coach Station), Manchester, Nottingham, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Stockport and Stoke-on-Trent. BY TRAIN
The nearest train stations are:
Buxton – approx 20 mins drive away
Matlock – (please note – NOT Matlock Bath) approx 17 mins drive away
The festival will be operating a shuttle bus service to and from the festival site from these stations.
