Festival de Nîmes 2026 returns to the majestic Arènes de Nîmes, one of France’s most breathtaking Roman amphitheatres, for another season of unforgettable open-air concerts beneath the southern stars. Each summer, this ancient arena — dating back nearly two thousand years — transforms into one of Europe’s most unique live music stages, where world-renowned artists perform in front of thousands of passionate fans surrounded by history, elegance, and Mediterranean warmth.

Since its creation in 1997, Festival de Nîmes has become a cornerstone of France’s live music calendar, blending timeless architecture with modern sound and spectacle. Its atmosphere is unlike any other: the stone arches echo with guitars, pianos, and voices that have defined generations. Every performance feels intimate yet monumental — a celebration of artistry in one of the most stunning venues in the world.

The 2026 edition promises a vibrant and eclectic line-up, uniting rock icons, pop legends, and contemporary French favourites. Confirmed acts include Feu! Chatterton and Benjamin Biolay (14 June), Sabaton (17 June), Jamiroquai (2 July), Sting (6 July), Pixies (7 July), Marilyn Manson (8 July), Béjart Ballet Lausanne (10 July), Katy Perry (11 July), Lorde (13 July), Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (14 July), Christophe Maé (17 July), Gims (21 July), and OrelSan, who will perform two special nights on 22 and 23 July. This stellar mix of international stars and French luminaries showcases the festival’s dedication to diversity and excellence across genres.

Beyond the music, Nîmes offers visitors a truly immersive experience. The city’s sun-drenched streets, Roman heritage sites, and Provençal charm make it the perfect backdrop for summer nights filled with rhythm and emotion. With its blend of world-class performances, historical grandeur, and Mediterranean atmosphere, Festival de Nîmes 2026 promises another season of timeless concerts — where ancient stones meet modern sound in a celebration of culture that only France can deliver.
