Glastonbury Festival
23 Jun 2027 - 27 Jun 2027
Glastonbury Festival 2027 will once again transform Worth Farm, Somerset, into the beating heart of British music and culture — a sprawling, kaleidoscopic city of art, community, and sound that defies comparison. More than just a festival, Glastonbury is a pilgrimage — a world within a world where 200,000 people gather to celebrate creativity, freedom, and connection across five unforgettable days.
Since its debut in 1970, Glastonbury has evolved into the world’s most influential music and performing arts festival. From its countercultural roots in the post-Woodstock era to its modern-day status as a global institution, it has hosted history-defining performances from legends like David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Beyoncé, Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Coldplay, Dolly Parton, Kendrick Lamar, and Elton John. The Pyramid Stage has become a symbol of unity and transcendence — a place where generations collide and music history is made beneath the Somerset sky.
While the 2027 line-up remains unannounced, Glastonbury’s reputation ensures another monumental roster that will span every imaginable genre — from rock, pop, hip-hop and dance to world music, folk and experimental sound. Recent editions have seen artists like Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Fred again.., The 1975, SZA, Little Simz, and The Chemical Brothers, alongside emerging talents from every corner of the globe. Whether it’s sunrise techno at Arcadia, reggae rhythms at The Glade, or acoustic intimacy in the Park, the diversity of music remains Glastonbury’s soul.
Beyond the music, Glastonbury is a living, breathing ecosystem of art, activism, and wonder. Visitors wander through fields of installations, circus tents, political debates, healing gardens, and secret stages — each one a universe of its own. The festival’s strong environmental commitment, including renewable energy use, waste-reduction initiatives, and long-term partnerships with Oxfam, WaterAid, and Greenpeace, continues to set the global standard for sustainable large-scale events.
Accommodation options range from traditional camping and glamping fields to pre-pitched tents and local farm stays, with the nearby towns of Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury welcoming travellers from across the world. The festival’s coach and green travel options make the journey as sustainable as the destination itself.
With its unrivalled atmosphere, rich history, and devotion to art and humanity, Glastonbury Festival 2027 promises another timeless chapter in music’s most enduring story — where legends are born, memories are made, and the world feels beautifully united, if only for a few days.
