Boom Festival 2027 will take place from 18–25 July 2027 at the festival’s iconic home of Boomland in Idanha‑a‑Nova, Portugal.

Born in 1997 and held biennially ever since, Boom Festival has grown into a globally recognised transformational event — renowned for its blend of psychedelic music, immersive art, sustainability innovation and a community-driven ethos.

For its 30th anniversary edition, the 2027 line-up will continue to embrace the full spectrum of electronic culture: from psytrance and progressive to ambient, downtempo, techno and live world music. While the full roster is yet to be revealed, past editions have showcased artists such as Infected Mushroom, Vini Vici, Ace Ventura, Shpongle and more — setting the tone for an immersive journey of music and consciousness.

Much more than a music festival, Boom is celebrated for its eco-centric vision: it operates as a temporary city with zero commercial branding, extensive sustainability programmes (including compost systems, solar and wind energy, and waste-water treatment) and a global community drawn from over 170 countries.

Whether you’re seeking deep psytrance sets, sunrise sound baths, visionary art installations or communal rituals amid Portuguese countryside, Boom Festival 2027 promises a week of profound experience, wild celebration and spiritual transformation.
