Hideout is a Croatian electronic music festival held inside the iconic clubs on Novalja’s Zrće Beach, including Papaya, Kalypso, Aquarius and Noa.
Held for five days and nights in June, Hideout not only takes over the beach’s best clubs, but also sets sail on the lush Adriatic for a series of boat parties that have previously featured the likes of Skream, Peggy Gou and My Nu Leng.
And over at the main festival, fans can expect sounds from across the dance music spectrum, from airy house right through to racy drum and bass.
2020 will see Hideout mark its 10th anniversary, promising to take things to an even higher level as it celebrates a decade of parties on Zrće Beach.
Lined with world-famous clubs, Zrće Beach has become a hub for dance music and unbeatable summer parties. Hideout also takes to the water with its legendary boat parties on the Adriatic.

Festival Shuttles are the only way to get around the island, to and from your accommodation and between the main resort and festival site. Festival Shuttle Pass will be announced soon.
There are regular buses from Zadar airport to Zadar Bus Station. The approximate price is 30kn (€4) for a one way trip from the Airport to Zadar or from Zadar to the Airport. Buses will depart from Zadar old Bus Terminal. Buses from Zadar Airport depart from the front gate of the international arrival terminal. The buses to Novalja are operated often by Antonio Tours bus company. Tickets for this journey are approximately 75kn (€10).
If you take a taxi, the best idea is to take it to Zadar and search for a direct bus to Novalja from Zadar’s Main bus station. Please make sure the taxi is marked since there can be illegal taxi operators on the island. Also, make sure you agree on the fare with the driver before you embark on any journey since they tend to make up prices after the ride (no taximeter or turning it off).
Zadar Airport is the closest airport to Novalja and it’s around 85 km away. Ryanair flies to Zadar airport directly from London Stansted. It is also possible to travel by Croatia Airlines.
Split Airport to Novalja is approximately 3 hours away.
The access to Novalja from the north of Croatia, including Pula Airport and Rijeka Airport, is fairly easy due to the ferry connection, which operates throughout the summer on the line Continent (Prizna) – Island of Pag (Žigljen). The ferry operates around the clock, being run 13 times daily in both directions (times: 05:30 to 22:30).
