Hideout Festival returns to Croatia’s Zrće beach in June 2021 after a year off, promising to bring with it another another top-tier dance lineup, played out across some of Novalja’s most popular clubs, including Papaya, Kalypso, Aquarius and Noa.

Spread over five days at the end of June, festival-goers can expect a lineup that covers everything from house and techno to grime, garage and drum and bass, with the last edition featuring sets from Jamie Jones, Hannah Wants and Bicep.

And all the action doesn’t just happen inside the clubs as Hideout sets sail on the lush Adriatic sea for a series of boat parties, as well as a beach party.

What’s more, with Hideout marking its 10th edition in 2021, the festival is promising to take things to an even higher level as it celebrates a decade of parties on Zrće Beach, turning Hideout Festival 2021 into the best edition yet.

Hideout Festival 2020 was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Purchased tickets can be transferred to the 2021 edition. You can read the festival’s statement here

Festival Shuttles are the only way to get around the island, to and from your accommodation and between the main resort and festival site. Festival Shuttle Pass will be announced soon.

There are regular buses from Zadar airport to Zadar Bus Station. The approximate price is 30kn (€4) for a one way trip from the Airport to Zadar or from Zadar to the Airport. The buses to Novalja are operated often by Antonio Tours bus company. Tickets for this journey are approximately 75kn (€10).

If you take a taxi, the best idea is to take it to Zadar and search for a direct bus to Novalja from Zadar’s Main bus station. Please make sure the taxi is marked since there can be illegal taxi operators on the island. Also, make sure you agree on the fare with the driver before you embark on any journey since they tend to make up prices after the ride (no taximeter or turning it off).

Zadar Airport is the closest airport to Novalja and it’s around 85 km away. Ryanair flies to Zadar airport directly from London Stansted. It is also possible to travel by Croatia Airlines.
Split Airport to Novalja is approximately 3 hours away.
The access to Novalja from the north of Croatia, including Pula Airport and Rijeka Airport, is fairly easy due to the ferry connection, which operates throughout the summer on the line Continent (Prizna) – Island of Pag (Žigljen). The ferry operates around the clock, being run 13 times daily in both directions (times: 05:30 to 22:30).
