Ikarus Festival
17 May 2024 - 20 May 2024
Ikarus Festival is an open-air electronic music festival at Memmingen Airport, Germany, specialising in all things techno and house.
Each year, ardent festival-goers jet-set into the spacious airport locale where an impressive lineup of techno’s biggest names await; Nina Kraviz, Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Tale Of Us, and Charlotte de Witte have landed in South West Germany for previous editions.
Across six characterful stages – some out in the open plains, some in the shrouded forest, all with their own distinctive design – you’ll discover that they each embrace their own unique atmosphere, amplifying the festival’s quality programme of circus, and most importantly, music.

Memmingen can be reached directly by train from Munich and Augsburg (as well as from Switzerland less regularly). Bus lines 2 and 810/811 run to Memmingen Airport from the city centre, around a 15 minute journey.
BY PLANE
As the festival takes place on the grounds of an international airport, it is very easy to reach by plane. Both Ryanair and Wizz Air operate regular scheduled flights to Memmingen Airport across the year, from a number of European cities.
