Loveland Festival 2027: Amsterdam’s Lakeside House and Techno Escape

Loveland Festival 2027 returns to Amsterdam’s beautiful Sloterpark for two days of house, techno and open-air celebration. Set among leafy pathways, grassy fields and shimmering water, the festival combines the energy of the city’s club culture with the freedom of dancing outdoors in one of Amsterdam’s most inviting green spaces.

Founded in 1995, Loveland has grown from a series of intimate parties into one of the Netherlands’ longest-running and most respected electronic music brands. Its enduring appeal comes from a commitment to carefully curated artists, excellent sound and welcoming dancefloors. Rather than following a single musical direction, Loveland moves effortlessly between soulful house, minimal grooves, melodic journeys, progressive sounds and powerful techno.

The official 2027 line-up has yet to be announced. Previous editions have welcomed influential artists including Adam Beyer, Solomun, Sven Väth, Joris Voorn, Ben Klock, Hernán Cattáneo, Nicole Moudaber, Fatboy Slim, Anfisa Letyago and Reinier Zonneveld. The new programme is expected to continue Loveland’s tradition of combining international headliners, extended sets, live performances and carefully selected underground talent.

Multiple stages are woven into the natural landscape of Sloterpark, each offering its own sound and visual identity. Lakeside dancefloors deliver sunlit house and progressive rhythms, while enclosed arenas provide darker environments for hypnotic and driving techno. Thoughtful stage design, art installations and atmospheric lighting enhance the surroundings without overwhelming the music-first character of the festival.

A varied selection of food stalls, bars and relaxation spaces provides plenty of opportunities to recharge between sets. Loveland is strictly for visitors aged 18 and over, and valid identification is required. The event does not offer on-site camping, but Amsterdam has an extensive choice of hotels, hostels and apartments within easy reach of the park.

Amsterdam Sloterdijk is the nearest major railway station, with dedicated festival shuttle buses completing the journey to Sloterpark. Visitors can also cycle to the official bicycle parking areas, use the designated taxi and drop-off zones, or book the Park and Shuttle service when arriving by car.
