Les Plages Électroniques is an electronic music festival, held on the sands of Cannes’s most famous beach, the Palais des Festivals. The festival makes the city of Cannes the number 1 destination for electronic music and has become one of the biggest European beach parties.
This famous French gathering plays out over three days on the Beach, the Terrace, the Croisette and the Rotonde with a more diverse offering than ever before, as well as a stage on the sea. The brand new open water party is on a stage made from buoys with an aquatic DJ set to make the whole sea an open air dancefloor.
The biggest names in electronic music, with the best of the French dance and EDM scene, are meeting at the foot of the Palais des Festivals for the biggest “beach party” of the Côte d’Azur. A megamix of unmissable headliners, artistic favorites and refreshing discoveries for a cosmopolitan and trend-setting program.
The afterparties came back in 2019 with an additional afterparty on Sunday evening at the Rotonde of the Palais des Festival, which will be transformed into an pop-up club, a dance floor with a capacity of 3000 people, where festival-goers can extend the party until 5:00 am.
Les Plages Electroniques 2020 was postponed to 6 – 8 August 2021, due to the coronavirus outbreak. Tickets remain valid for the 2021 edition. You can read the full statement from the festival here
