Rave On Snow 2026: Electronic Music in the Austrian Alps

Rave On Snow 2026 returns to Saalbach Hinterglemm, transforming the picturesque Austrian resort into an electrifying world of underground music, winter sports and Alpine celebration. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, atmospheric mountain huts and lively village streets, the festival offers an experience unlike any conventional club event — a place where days on the slopes flow effortlessly into nights on the dancefloor.

With roots stretching back to 1993, Rave On Snow has grown into one of Europe’s most established winter electronic music festivals. What began as a pioneering meeting of club culture and mountain adventure has developed into an international gathering that still retains its intimate, free-spirited character. The entire resort becomes part of the festival, creating a welcoming community of music lovers, skiers, snowboarders and artists.

The 2026 edition will feature more than 70 DJs across 12 dancefloors, presenting three days and nights of house, techno and underground electronic music. Although the complete artist programme is still to be revealed, Rave On Snow’s history includes appearances from influential names such as Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Dominik Eulberg, Âme and Oliver Koletzki. Visitors can expect carefully curated sets ranging from deep, melodic grooves to powerful late-night techno.

Part of the festival’s magic lies in its remarkable selection of venues. Intimate clubs, rustic mountain spaces, outdoor stages and the legendary underground car park each offer their own atmosphere. One moment may bring panoramic dancing high above the valley; the next could lead into a dark, bass-filled room beneath the resort.

During the day, festival-goers can explore the extensive Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, with around 270 kilometres of pistes for skiing and snowboarding. Lift passes are purchased separately, allowing visitors to shape their own balance of mountain activity and festival time.

Accommodation ranges from hotels and guesthouses to apartments throughout Saalbach and neighbouring areas. Festival packages combining entry and accommodation are also available, while local shuttle and Nightliner services connect the surrounding villages with the main party locations. Salzburg Airport is the nearest major arrival point, with onward transfers and public transport serving the resort.
