Sea You Festival 2027 – Welcome to the Beach Republic

Sea You Festival 2027 returns to the shores of Tunisee near Freiburg, transforming its sparkling water and green surroundings into Germany’s colourful Beach Republic. With the Black Forest rising in the distance, this open-air celebration combines electronic music, swimming and lakeside relaxation in one of Europe’s most picturesque festival settings.

The modern Sea You Festival launched in 2014, building a distinctive identity around its remarkable location. Rather than separating the music from the landscape, the festival makes the lake central to the experience. Visitors can dance beside the water, cool off between sets or stretch out on the grassy banks while electronic rhythms drift across the site.

The 2027 edition will feature more than 150 acts performing across six stages, including three with direct views of Tunisee. The line-up has not yet been announced, and festival-goers are currently being invited to vote for the artists and musical styles they would most like to experience. Based on Sea You’s established programming, visitors can anticipate a varied mixture of techno, house, tech house, melodic electronic music and psytrance, balancing international names with popular scene artists.

The Blackforest View Stage forms the festival’s largest arena, combining high-impact sound with LED screens, water fountains, dancers and dramatic show effects. Elsewhere, smaller beachside and covered stages create contrasting atmospheres, allowing visitors to move between euphoric mainstage moments, deeper underground sounds and relaxed sessions by the lake.

Water activities make Sea You much more than a traditional dance festival. Guests can swim, sunbathe, try wakeboarding or waterskiing, and explore the lake aboard oversized inflatable flamingos. Relaxation areas provide shaded spaces to recharge, while food stalls and bars serve a broad selection of festival favourites and refreshing drinks.

Three camping areas offer different ways to stay near the action, with standard and upgraded combinations available alongside single-day and multi-day festival passes. Shuttle buses traditionally connect the festival with Freiburg, while visitors can also arrive by taxi, bicycle or car. Public transport makes Freiburg accessible from across Germany, France and Switzerland.

With its combination of lakeside freedom, ambitious production and diverse electronic sound, Sea You Festival 2027 promises an unforgettable escape where dancing, swimming and summer celebration flow together from one stage to the next.
