Mint Festival 2027: Yorkshire’s Essential House and Techno Gathering

Mint Festival 2027 returns to Newsam Green Farm in Leeds for another weekend of underground house, techno and bass-driven electronic music. Set within open countryside just beyond the city centre, Yorkshire’s largest dance music festival combines the energy of club culture with the freedom of a spacious outdoor setting built for long sessions and serious dancing.

Launched in 2012 by the team behind Leeds institutions Mint Club and Mint Warehouse, the festival has developed organically while remaining closely connected to the city’s influential nightlife. Its identity is shaped by carefully selected DJs, respected promoters and an audience that values musical depth, sound quality and dancefloor connection. Rather than relying solely on spectacle, Mint places the artists and the crowd at the centre of the experience.

The official 2027 line-up has yet to be announced. Previous editions have presented leading names from contemporary house and techno, including Rossi., Ewan McVicar, Luuk van Dijk, Morgan Seatree, Enzo Siragusa, Shanti Celeste, Sally C, Silva Bumpa, Soul Mass Transit System, Traumer and Demi Riquísimo. Fans can expect another carefully balanced programme featuring established underground selectors, exciting new producers and exclusive back-to-back performances.

Across its immersive arenas, Mint moves between groove-led house, minimal rhythms, deep techno, UK garage and high-energy club sounds. Each space develops its own personality through distinctive stage design and powerful production, allowing festival-goers to shift between open-air sunshine, intimate dancefloors and heavier late-evening sessions. Clean, impactful sound remains one of the festival’s defining priorities.

A varied selection of food traders and bars will serve the site, with vegetarian choices available alongside familiar festival favourites. Mint operates as a cashless event, so visitors should bring a bank card or contactless payment method. The festival is strictly for adults, and a Challenge 25 policy applies at the entrance.

Newsam Green Farm is approximately six miles from central Leeds. Official shuttle buses provide the most convenient connection between the city centre and the festival, with advance booking recommended. Leeds also offers an extensive choice of hotels, hostels and serviced apartments for those travelling from outside the region. Admission to the official Mint Warehouse afterparty requires a separate ticket.
