Garorock Festival
26 Jun 2026 - 28 Jun 2026
Garorock Festival 2026 marks a monumental return to the Plaine de la Filhole in Marmande, celebrating three decades of music, culture, and community spirit. Nestled in the heart of southwest France, this iconic open-air event has grown from a local underground rock gathering into one of Europe’s most vibrant and multi-genre festivals. Every summer, Garorock transforms the peaceful fields of Marmande into a pulsating landscape of lights, sound, and celebration — a must-visit for music lovers who crave both energy and authenticity.
Since its foundation in 1997, Garorock has stood as a symbol of creative freedom and eclectic taste. Originally devoted to alternative and punk rock, the festival quickly embraced the expanding horizons of modern music — now spanning rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, indie, and techno. Its evolution mirrors that of its audience: diverse, dynamic, and ever curious. Through the years, Garorock has hosted legendary acts such as DJ Snake, Muse, The Offspring, Macklemore, Justice, Christine and the Queens, Orelsan, Arctic Monkeys, and Major Lazer, blending global superstars with emerging European talent in a way few festivals manage to achieve.
The 2026 edition promises to raise the bar even higher. As Garorock celebrates its 30th anniversary, fans can expect an explosive mix of live performances, immersive art installations, and electrifying DJ sets that will keep the crowd moving well into the early hours. Each stage has its own identity — from the raw energy of the main rock stage to the hypnotic beats of the electronic arena, and the laid-back grooves of the indie and urban zones. Combined with spectacular stage production and a festival site that offers panoramic views of the Garonne River, Garorock 2026 is set to deliver an unforgettable sensory experience.
Beyond the music, Garorock embodies the spirit of summer freedom. Its massive campsite becomes a city within a city, filled with color, laughter, and spontaneous jam sessions. Festivalgoers gather from across Europe — from France, Spain, and Italy to Germany and the UK — to celebrate together under the warm Marmande sky. Between sets, fans can explore the festival’s creative corners: art installations, food villages serving everything from local cuisine to vegan bites, chill-out zones, and funfair rides that add a playful twist to the Garorock experience.
Over the years, Garorock has built a reputation for more than just its lineups — it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a cultural beacon for those who live and breathe live music. With its commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation, the 2026 edition will not only celebrate the festival’s remarkable history but also look toward the future of live entertainment. As anticipation builds, one thing is certain: Garorock 2026 will once again prove why it remains one of Europe’s most exciting and enduring music festivals — a place where every beat, every light, and every moment becomes a shared story.
