Wilderness Festival 2027: Music, Feasting and Wild Escapism

Wilderness Festival returns to the enchanting grounds of Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire, inviting festival-goers into a world where live music, theatrical spectacle, fine dining and woodland adventure meet. Spread across meadows, ancient trees and lakeside spaces, this four-day celebration offers an imaginative alternative to the traditional festival experience.

Founded in 2011, Wilderness has become one of the UK’s most distinctive boutique festivals. Its programme moves effortlessly between headline concerts, electronic dancefloors, orchestral performances, comedy, theatre, debates and intimate artistic encounters. The result is a colourful cultural playground where peaceful mornings can evolve into spectacular evenings of music and revelry.

The official 2027 line-up has not yet been announced. Previous editions have welcomed artists such as Scissor Sisters, Carl Cox, The Last Dinner Party, Soulwax, Saint Etienne and Groove Armada, illustrating the festival’s broad musical outlook. These performers are not confirmed for 2027, but visitors can expect another eclectic programme spanning live bands, electronic music, contemporary performance and unexpected collaborations.

Wilderness treats food as a headline attraction. Long-table banquets, chef-led dining experiences, fireside feasts and street-food markets transform eating into part of the entertainment. Bookable meals traditionally sit alongside casual options, with menus covering British seasonal cooking, international flavours and vegetarian and vegan choices.

Wellbeing and outdoor adventure provide a restorative counterpoint to the nightlife. Visitors can usually explore wild swimming, yoga, meditation, woodland workshops, craft sessions and nature-inspired activities. Families are warmly welcomed through dedicated spaces, creative entertainment and hands-on experiences for younger festival-goers.

Accommodation ranges from General, Family and Quiet Camping to live-in vehicle pitches and boutique options featuring furnished tents, tipis and other upgraded facilities. Availability and campsite features vary, so visitors should review the official options before booking.

Charlbury is the nearest railway station, with festival transport normally operating between the station and Cornbury Park. Sustainable coach services are also expected from selected London locations, while drivers should follow the official event signs when approaching the grounds.

With its irresistible combination of culture, cuisine and countryside freedom, Wilderness Festival 2027 promises another beautifully paced escape where guests can feast, dance, explore and discover their own version of the wild.
