Kendal Calling
30 Jul 2026 - 2 Aug 2026
Kendal Calling 2026 returns to the rolling hills of the Lake District, bringing its signature blend of music, nature, and northern charm back to the stunning grounds of Lowther Deer Park in Cumbria. This much-loved summer escape is one of the UK’s most picturesque festivals, where the beauty of the countryside meets a vibrant mix of live music, laughter, and community spirit.
Since its humble beginnings in 2006, Kendal Calling has grown into one of the nation’s most celebrated boutique festivals, famous for its warm atmosphere and eclectic lineups. Over the years, it has welcomed major acts such as Blondie, The Libertines, Stereophonics, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Kasabian, Courteeners, Royal Blood, and Foals, alongside breakthrough indie, electronic, and folk talent. Each edition captures the essence of British festival culture — wild, friendly, and full of surprises around every corner.
The 2026 edition promises another unforgettable weekend filled with indie anthems, electronic beats, and late-night revelry. Expect multiple stages nestled among the trees, immersive art installations, comedy shows, and delicious local food stalls serving up Cumbrian favourites. The festival’s family-friendly vibe, creative spaces, and woodland escapades make it perfect for everyone, from first-time campers to seasoned festival-goers.
Set against a backdrop of green meadows and forest trails, Kendal Calling 2026 is more than just a music festival — it’s a celebration of friendship, freedom, and the joy of being together in one of the most scenic corners of the UK.
