Les Plages Électroniques 2027 returns to Cannes for three spectacular days of electronic music, Mediterranean sunshine and beachfront celebration. Staged beside the Palais des Festivals on the legendary Croisette, the event transforms one of the French Riviera’s most recognisable locations into a vast open-air dancefloor where festival energy meets seaside glamour.

Founded in 2006, Les Plages Électroniques has grown from a series of local beach parties into one of France’s leading electronic music festivals. More than two decades later, its identity remains inseparable from Cannes. Golden sand, turquoise water and views across the bay create a cinematic setting, while the city’s hotels, restaurants and nightlife extend the experience far beyond the festival entrance.

The Les Plages Électroniques 2027 line-up has not yet been officially announced. The previous anniversary edition featured major international names including Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Marshmello, Amelie Lens, Nico Moreno, Maceo Plex, Anetha, Alignment, Clara Cuvé, Interplanetary Criminal, Mathame and Mind Against. The next programme can be expected to continue the festival’s broad approach, moving between house, techno, hard techno, melodic electronic music and crowd-charging mainstage sounds.

Multiple areas create different ways to experience the music, from large-scale beach performances to more intimate terraces and spaces overlooking the Mediterranean. Powerful sound systems, lasers, video installations and carefully timed show effects transform the Palais shoreline after sunset, while daytime sessions retain the easy-going atmosphere of a Riviera beach party.

The wider programme traditionally spreads through Cannes with official after-parties, DJ sets and creative experiences hosted by local venues. Food traders and bars serve refreshments throughout the festival, while the beach provides space to relax between performances. Swimming access is managed according to festival conditions and safety rules, so visitors should follow instructions on site.

There is no festival campsite, but official packages combine admission with hotels, coaches or other transport options. Cannes is also accessible by train from Nice and other Riviera destinations, making the event suitable for a festival weekend or a longer coastal holiday.
