Y Not Festival
30 Jul 2026 - 2 Aug 2026
Y Not Festival 2026 returns to the breathtaking countryside of Pikehall in the Peak District, bringing with it a weekend packed with indie anthems, rock icons, and festival magic under the open sky. Known for its unpretentious charm and electric energy, Y Not has become one of the UK’s most beloved independent festivals — a true celebration of music, freedom, and good times surrounded by rolling green hills.
What began back in 2006 as a small gathering in a Derbyshire quarry has grown into a cornerstone of the British festival calendar, while never losing its down-to-earth spirit. Y Not still feels personal — a place where huge headliners share space with breakthrough artists, and where every corner bursts with creativity, from pop-up stages and art installations to laughter-filled campfire sessions.
The 2026 edition promises another exceptional lineup, following in the footsteps of past years that have welcomed artists like Kasabian, Royal Blood, Bombay Bicycle Club, Arctic Monkeys, Blossoms, Foals, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Expect a diverse mix of indie, rock, pop, and electronic acts across multiple stages, along with an atmosphere that balances festival energy with countryside serenity.
Beyond the music, Y Not offers a complete festival experience — gourmet street food, craft beers, vintage fairground rides, comedy tents, and immersive late-night takeovers that keep the energy alive long after the headliners have left the stage. Families are also welcomed with open arms, thanks to the festival’s well-designed family camping areas and kid-friendly activities.
With its stunning location, warm community feel, and consistently brilliant curation, Y Not Festival 2026 stands as a shining reminder of why the UK’s independent festival scene remains so special — real music, real people, and one unforgettable weekend in the heart of the countryside.
