Founded in 2012, Mo:Dem takes its name from Momento Demento, the Croatian collective behind the event. Since its first edition, the festival has earned an international reputation for championing originality, uncompromising underground culture and exceptionally detailed production. Its relatively remote setting intensifies the feeling of entering a self-contained universe, far removed from everyday routines and distractions.

Three extraordinary stages shape the musical journey. The Hive is Mo:Dem’s psychedelic powerhouse, delivering fast, intricate and deeply immersive psytrance through a formidable sound system and futuristic visual design. The Swamp explores hypnotic techno, progressive psychedelia and genre-crossing electronics, while the Seed offers experimental bass, ambient textures and alternative sounds in a more intimate environment.

The Mo:Dem Festival 2027 line-up is still being assembled, with selections focused on musical quality and originality rather than fame alone. Festival-goers can expect established underground innovators alongside emerging artists, covering forest psytrance, darkpsy, progressive, techno and adventurous electronic styles. Travellers commonly reach the festival through Zagreb or Zadar, continuing towards Slunj before using local festival transport.
