Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival 2026 will once again open the gates to its enchanted forest in Stemwede, Germany, inviting thousands of free spirits to celebrate a weekend of psytrance, art, and community beneath the trees. Since its beginnings in 1997, the festival has grown organically into a global gathering for psychedelic culture, hosted by the legendary Waldfrieden community. Every corner of the forest pulses with life: from the thundering energy of the Main Floor to the chilled ambience of the Hill Top and Chillum areas, each space offers a unique experience designed to awaken all senses.
The 2026 edition promises another spectacular journey through sound and spirit, featuring a world-class line-up of psytrance pioneers, live acts, and experimental artists. While the full roster is yet to be revealed, past editions have featured international icons such as Ace Ventura, Ajja, Avalon, Atmos, Electric Universe, Klopfgeister, Outsiders, Liquid Soul, Talamasca, Ritmo, Neelix, and Vini Vici — alongside an ever-evolving wave of local and global talent representing progressive, full-on, forest, and chillout styles. Camping during the festival is included in the festival ticket, so all you need is basic camping gear, like a tent, a camping pad and a head torch (so useful in the night).

BY CAR
To minimize the car traffic on the festival grounds we have to take 5 € road toll for every vehicle driving over the area.
BY BUS
Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival offers a free bus shuttle from the Lemförde and Rahden train stations. The Festivals will also organize bus tours from large cities. The exact timetables will be published later on.
BY TRAIN
The closest train stations are in Lemförde and Rahden. From both train stations there is a free bus shuttle service to the festival. The busses drive very frequently.
To Lemförde you can easily get from Osnabrück or Bremen. From Osnabrück it takes about 15 minutes and from Bremen it takes about 50 minutes to get there.
For travelers who come from Bielefeld / Herford it is more convenient to take the train to Rahden.

From Rahden to Waldfrieden taxi fee is about €30.
BY PLANE
Hannover International Airport (HAJ) is the closest and is 1.5 hours drive to the Festival.
From there take the train to Hannover Train Station, then take the train to Bremen (1 hour journey) and then the train to Lemförde (1 hour journey).
