Bloodstock Open Air 2026 will rise once again at Catton Park, Derbyshire, as the UK’s most powerful independent metal festival unleashes four days of thunderous riffs, unrivalled energy and uncompromising heavy music. This is where metalheads from every corner of the world gather to experience the pure, unfiltered force of the genre — live, loud and unapologetic.

Since its beginnings as a small indoor event in 2001, Bloodstock Open Air has grown into a cultural institution for the metal community, retaining its independent spirit while drawing world-class names and loyal fans from across the globe. With stages like the legendary Ronnie James Dio Main Stage and the immersive Sophie Lancaster Stage, the festival offers both legendary headliners and the freshest underground acts, all converging in one ferocious celebration of riffs, drums and crowd-fueled power.

The 2026 edition is already shaping up to be monumental — headlined by icons Judas Priest, Lamb of God, and Slaughter to Prevail, with additional confirmed acts such as Sepultura, Municipal Waste, Of Mice & Men, Bleed From Within, Northlane, Death Angel, Black Label Society, Body Count, and Kittie. This broad spectrum guarantees something for every metal head — from classic, riff-driven anthems to brutal modern extremes and everything in between.

More than just a festival, Bloodstock is a weekend of pure metal community — camping under the stars, late-night fire shows, metal markets, and walls of sound that echo across the fields of Derbyshire. With its fiercely loyal fanbase, independent drive and deep connection to metal culture, Bloodstock Open Air 2026 promises another unforgettable chapter of unity, intensity and raw musical power.
