Bospop Festival 2027: Big Live Music, Warm Limburg Spirit
Bospop Festival returns to Weert for another unforgettable weekend of live music, shared discoveries and the relaxed atmosphere that has made it a favourite among Dutch festival-goers for more than four decades. Hosted at Evenemententerrein Weert-Noord, Bospop combines major international performances with the friendly, close-knit feel of a festival built by genuine music lovers.
Since its first edition in 1981, Bospop has grown from a stage for regional bands into one of the Netherlands’ most respected rock and pop festivals. Its evolution has remained rooted in a passion for live performance, bringing together several generations through classic rock, blues, soul, pop, hard rock and exciting new talent. The result is a broad musical experience that feels both established and refreshingly open-minded.
The official 2027 line-up has not yet been announced. Previous editions have welcomed celebrated artists including John Fogerty, Simple Minds, ZZ Top, Santana, Toto, Skunk Anansie, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Foreigner, Snow Patrol, The Black Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Volbeat and Moby. These names are not confirmed for 2027, but they reflect the high-calibre mix of legends, crowd favourites and emerging acts for which Bospop is known.
Across its stages, Bospop creates space for huge singalong moments, virtuoso musicianship and unexpected new discoveries. The compact, well-organised site makes it easy to move between performances, while the welcoming crowd and dedicated volunteers give the event its unmistakable sense of togetherness.
Food and drink are an important part of the weekend, with festival favourites, vegetarian options, bars and market areas traditionally spread across the grounds. The campsite has long been central to the Bospop experience, providing a lively place to settle in, meet fellow visitors and continue the conversation after the final encore. Details of camping, camper facilities and accommodation upgrades for 2027 will be released with the new festival information.
Weert is well connected by rail, while festival transport and parking arrangements are usually confirmed closer to the event. Visitors who prefer more comfort can also find hotels, guesthouses and holiday accommodation in and around the city.

Accommodation
Camping during the festival requires a Camping Ticket purchased here. All you need is basic camping gear, like a tent, a camping pad and a head torch (so useful in the night). If you don’t want to bring your own tent the festival offers pre-pitched tents & Bungalow options purchased here

BY TRAIN
Weert is well connected by rail in the Netherlands and major European cities. From Weert Station you can take the festival’s Shuttle to the festival site.
BY SHUTTLE BUS
The station is a 45-minute walk from the festival site. Buses will run regularly from the station in Weert to the entrance of the festival site. Buses also run to and from the Weerterbergen holiday park. The shuttle buses run at least once an hour without a regular timetable. The costs for a return with the shuttle bus are €2.00. You have to pay this amount upon boarding at the station or the Weerterbergen.
BY PLANE
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) take the train to Utrecht Central Station (32 min journey) and from there take the train to Weert (1h 12 min journey). From Weert Station you can take the festival’s Shuttle to the festival site.
