Polaris Festival 2026: Electronic Music in a New Alpine Dimension

Polaris Festival will return across two weekends, covering both 20–21 & 27–28 November 2026.

Polaris Festival 2026 returns to Verbier, Switzerland, for its eleventh edition, bringing exceptional electronic music, immersive art and cutting-edge technology to the heart of the Valais Alps. Spread across two carefully curated weekends, the festival offers an intimate alternative to the traditional arena experience, surrounding its audience with dramatic mountain scenery and a distinctly refined atmosphere.

Since its launch in 2015, Polaris has developed into one of Switzerland’s most respected electronic music gatherings. Its identity is rooted in adventurous programming, high-quality sound and creative scenography, with each edition bringing influential international artists and discerning music lovers together in an extraordinary Alpine setting. The limited capacity preserves a close connection between the performers and the dancefloor, allowing every set to feel personal and immersive.

The official 2026 line-up is still to be announced, but Polaris has promised another journey through house, techno and forward-thinking electronic music. Previous editions have welcomed an exceptional range of artists, including DJ Koze, Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz, Honey Dijon, Laurent Garnier, Moodymann, Jayda G, Sven Väth, Marcel Dettmann, Danilo Plessow and Gerd Janson. This history points towards another sophisticated programme combining pioneering figures, contemporary innovators and carefully chosen emerging talent.

Polaris is designed as a complete audiovisual experience. Precision sound, atmospheric lighting and large-scale installations transform the festival space into a futuristic Alpine environment where art and technology respond to the movement of the crowd. The production feels polished without losing the raw energy that defines an underground dancefloor.

Regular weekend passes will be available alongside VIP and Stage Experience options, allowing guests to choose the level of access that suits their visit. Capacity is deliberately restricted, and the festival has a strong history of selling out, so early booking is recommended once the preferred weekend has been selected.

Verbier and nearby Le Châble offer accommodation ranging from welcoming guesthouses and self-catered apartments to luxury hotels and mountain chalets. The area can be reached by train through Martigny, with regional connections continuing to Le Châble and cable-car access towards Verbier.

Polaris Festival 2026 promises more than a weekend of DJ sets. It is a carefully constructed encounter between music, landscape and visual imagination, inviting electronic music lovers to leave the ordinary behind and enter a new dimension in the Swiss Alps.
