Awake Festival is a multi-genre music festival held in the grounds of a spectacular Transylvanian castle near Gornesti, Romania.

In amongst the picturesque woodland on the banks of the Mureș river sits Teleki Castle, an 18th century Baroque castle laden in history. This Romanian festival with it’s uniquely immersive ethos intends to merge music, arts and entertainment together to create new history within the castle grounds.

Aiming to blend cultures and experiences, Awake Festival’s eclectic lineup unites names from a diverse mix of genres with grime and electronica sitting alongside punk, rock and soul; the festival’s eclecticism is evident in previous headliners, with the likes of Enter Shikari, Morcheeba, AJ Tracey, Pussy Riot, Lady Leshurr, and Wilkinson all topping the bill in previous editions.
