Bilbao BBK Live
9 Jul - 11 Jul
Bilbao BBK Live 2026 returns to the lush green heights of Monte Cobetas, once again transforming the hills overlooking Bilbao into one of Europe’s most atmospheric and culturally rich music festivals. Blending global headliners with cutting-edge artists across rock, indie, electronic and alternative pop, BBK Live has built a reputation for musical diversity, breathtaking scenery and a uniquely relaxed Basque summer vibe that sets it apart from the rest of the European festival circuit.
Since its debut in 2006, Bilbao BBK Live has steadily grown into a cornerstone of Spain’s live music calendar. Over the years, it has hosted some of the most influential artists of their generation while remaining committed to discovery and artistic depth. Its setting above the city, with panoramic views stretching to the Bay of Biscay, creates a rare balance between large-scale festival energy and a sense of escape into nature.
The first lineup announcement for 2026 already signals a standout edition. Legendary figures such as Robbie Williams and David Byrne bring timeless songwriting and unforgettable live presence, while indie heavyweights Alabama Shakes, Interpol and Belle and Sebastian promise emotionally charged performances built for long summer evenings. On the electronic front, techno icon Charlotte de Witte and visionary innovator Richie Hawtin (DEX EFX X0X) underline BBK Live’s continued commitment to forward-thinking club culture, joined by the unmistakable energy of Soulwax and the groove-driven live show of Nu Genea (Live Band).
The lineup also highlights a strong contemporary and alternative edge, with artists such as IDLES, CMAT, Lily Allen performing her celebrated album West End Girl, and rising favourites like Ralphie Choo, Paris Paloma and Queralt Lahoz. Spanish and Basque talent is proudly represented through names including Belén Aguilera, Dani Fernández, La M.O.D.A., Depresión Sonora, Xoel López and Zaz, ensuring a rich local presence alongside international stars.
Across multiple stages, BBK Live offers a seamless journey from sunlit afternoon sets to late-night performances under the stars. The festival’s layout allows space to breathe, dance and explore, with carefully designed stages, excellent sound quality and a crowd known for its openness and musical curiosity. Food stalls showcase both international flavours and regional Basque cuisine, while the nearby city of Bilbao offers world-class dining, culture and accommodation options just minutes away.
Bilbao BBK Live 2026 promises another unforgettable gathering where iconic artists, emerging voices and adventurous sounds meet in one of Europe’s most beautiful festival settings. With a strong first lineup and many more names still to come, it is once again shaping up to be a highlight of the summer festival season.
