Kew the Music returns to the beautiful grounds of Kew Gardens in summer 2021 for another week-long festival of concerts, headlined by names from across the musical spectrum, including James Blunt, Will Young, James Morrison, Bananarama, DJ Spoony presents Garage Classical and the Gipsy Kings.

Aiming to appeal to all generations of music lovers, Kew the Music is the ideal summer evening outing where families can enjoy some great music in beautiful surroundings. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drink, or can enjoy the open air bars and tasty street food stalls already there.

Kew Gardens is London’s largest UNESCO World Heritage site, boasting over 130 hectares of the world’s most diverse collection of living plants.

Kew The Music 2020 was postponed to 7 – 11 July 2021, due to the coronavirus outbreak. All tickets remain valid for the 2021 edition. You can read the festival’s statement here

BY BUS

The 65 (between Ealing Broadway and Kingston via Richmond town centre) stops close to Victoria Gate. The 391 between Fulham and Richmond stops near Kew Gardens station. The 237 and 267 routes stop at Kew Bridge station from where you can either walk over Kew Bridge to Elizabeth Gate or catch the 65 or 391 bus services.

BY TRAIN

Train services (South West Trains) from Waterloo, via Vauxhall and Clapham Junction, stop at Kew Bridge Station. Kew Bridge Station is 800 metres from the Elizabeth Gate entrance to the Gardens via Kew Bridge.

BY UNDERGROUND

Kew Gardens Station (District Line – Richmond Branch and London Overground) is the closest London Underground station, and is in zone 3. Kew Gardens Station is 500 metres from the Victoria Gate entrance to the Gardens.

BY PLANE

Kew Gardens is in close proximity to all the main London airports: Heathrow (11 miles), London City (26 miles), Luton (36 miles), Gatwick (45 miles) and Stanstead (65 miles). Trains run from all the airports to London, where you can pick up a train to Kew Gardens station or Kew Bridge station.
