Psy-Fi is an annual Open Air Psychedelic Music and Arts Festival, in De Groene Ster, a beautiful green oasis to the east of Leeuwarden. It is one of the largest international festivals in the Netherlands and attracts thousands of visitors each year.

“Guardians of Gaia” will be Psy-Fi Festival’s 8th edition, focusing on our planet’s current threads of overpopulation and depletion of resources. Psy-Fi festival wants to explore with everybody ways to help overcome the current issues, that we face as a species living on this beautiful planet.

The Psy-Fi festival is set up to be one of the bigger Psy-Trance festivals in Europe, offering a large variety of music, arts and space for personal growth. Bigger is not always better and they do not strive to be the biggest at all. They strive to deliver the most amazing festival experience that they can give you.

Camping during the festival is included in the festival ticket, so all you need is basic camping gear, like a tent, a camping pad and a head torch (so useful in the night).

BY AIRPORT SHUTTLE

For everyone who likes to use the festival’s shuttle service from Amsterdam Airport to the Psy-Fi festival:
-You can also use festival’s shuttles if you don’t come by plane.
-You can find them in arrival hall no.4.
-In case there are seats available you can book a seat at the airport (no guarantee).

BY BUS

Take the bus from Amsterdam, Prins Hendrikkade Station to Hoorn, Station (50 min journey, departs every 20 min – approx. €8) then take the bus to Middenmeer, Alkmaarseweg Station (22 min journey, departs hourly – approx. €3 – €5) and lastly take the train to Leeuwarden Bus Station (1.5 hours journey, departs hourly – approx. €10 – €16).

BY TRAIN

Take a train from Amsterdam Nieuwmarkt Station to Leeuwarden Central Station (10 min journey – approx. €3). You can then take a shuttle to the Festival.

BY PLANE

The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, an 1 hour 45 minutes drive away from the venue. You can take a train to “Hardegarijp” and from there a shuttle to the location, or use the festival’s airport shuttle service.
