Liverpool Sound City
25 Sep - 27 Sep
Liverpool Sound City Festival is Liverpool’s premier rock and indie music festival, held each May down at the city’s Baltic Triangle, a creative hub of warehouses and quirky venues, which is the perfect backdrop to the festival’s raw lineup.
As every music fan will know, Liverpool has a rich musical history having produced a host of famous rock bands, such as The La’s, Cast, The Zutons, and of course, The Beatles.
Liverpool Sound City Festival carries on the tradition, showcasing a lineup of smaller artists, as well as unsigned talent. The festival has a proud record of putting on alt-J, Florence and the Machine and The xx before anyone else.
And beyond the main event, Liverpool Sound City Festival also runs a program of conferences with leading industry figures, including labels, promoters, artists, managers and more, who join festival-goers for a series of panels, debates and workshops.
Liverpool Sound City 2020 was postponed to 25 – 27 September 2020, due to the coronavirus outbreak. All tickets remain valid for the new date. You can read the festival’s full statement here
