Øya Festival 2025 – Oslo’s Sustainable Music Haven

From 6th to 9th August 2025, Øya Festival returns to the lush Tøyen Park in Oslo, bringing four days of incredible live music from global superstars and local talents alike. Known as one of Norway’s largest outdoor festivals, Øya features a diverse line-up that spans genres like indie, rock, electronic, and pop. Past headliners include Gorillaz, Lana Del Rey, and Robyn, and the 2025 edition promises to be just as impressive.

But Øya is more than just music. Proudly hailed as the “world’s greenest festival,” it leads the way in sustainability by running on renewable energy and maintaining eco-friendly practices, such as banning single-use plastics and serving organic, locally-sourced food. This dedication to the environment sets Øya apart as a pioneer in green festival experiences.

Located just minutes from central Oslo, the festival’s scenic park setting offers a perfect blend of urban energy and natural beauty. Whether you’re dancing to your favourite band or enjoying the sustainable food stalls, Øya Festival 2025 promises an unforgettable experience!
