Sunrise Festival 2027: Belgium’s Lakeside Dance Paradise

Sunrise Festival 2027 returns to De Lilse Bergen in Gierle for an extended summer celebration filled with music, colour and unforgettable lakeside energy. Surrounded by woodland and centred around an enormous recreational lake with a tropical sandy beach, the festival offers one of Belgium’s most distinctive settings for a weekend of dancing and discovery.

For more than a decade, Sunrise Festival has welcomed electronic music fans to what organisers call the Ibiza of the Kempen. Its broad programming and relaxed holiday atmosphere distinguish it from more narrowly focused dance events. Across more than seven stages, over 200 artists traditionally represent everything from house, techno and commercial dance to hardstyle, hardcore, drum & bass, urban music and singalong party favourites.

The official 2027 line-up has yet to be announced. Recent editions have welcomed a diverse selection of performers including Sub Zero Project, Da Tweekaz, Amber Broos, USED, Antoon, Kraantje Pappie and Bankzitters. This range reflects the festival’s open-minded identity, combining major electronic acts, harder-styles favourites, Belgian talent and popular live performers within one colourful programme.

The natural surroundings remain central to the Sunrise experience. Visitors can move between energetic main stages, intimate woodland areas and beachside dancefloors before relaxing beside the lake. Creative décor, immersive lighting, fireworks and large-scale visual production transform the site as evening arrives, while food courts, cocktail bars and chill-out spaces provide plenty of opportunities to recharge.

Sunfields Camping extends the festival beyond the main arena. Campers can expect pre-parties, pool parties, entertainment and social activities that turn the accommodation area into its own lively community. Updated camping packages and facilities for 2027 will be announced by the organisers as preparations continue.

De Lilse Bergen is conveniently positioned in the Kempen region, approximately half an hour by car from both Antwerp and Eindhoven. The site is accessible from the E34 and offers organised parking, while detailed public transport and shuttle information is generally released closer to the festival.

With its expanded format, spectacular beach setting and exceptionally varied musical identity, Sunrise Festival 2027 promises a complete summer escape where international visitors and local festival-goers come together to dance, swim, celebrate and welcome the season in true Belgian style.
