Tomorrowland Around the World returns! Following the huge success of its first ever digital edition in 2020, Tomorrowland is bringing back the spectacular two-day digital music festival experience on Friday July 16 and Saturday July 17, 2021.

Tomorrowland Around the World 2021 is adapted to all time zones and will again bring together a stellar line-up featuring the planet’s biggest names in electronic dance music and the world’s best technology in 3D design, video production and special effects.

The digital festival is open to people of all ages and places, unfazed by any borders or boundaries and ready to welcome hundreds of thousands of People of Tomorrow from across the globe, in addition to the Tomorrowland’s in-person live festival at the Holy Grounds in Belgium (August 27-29 & September 3-5, 2021). Already confirmed to be part of this year’s digital festival are world-class artists Adam Beyer, Armin van Buuren, Claptone, Nicky Romero and Tale Of Us.

Tomorrowland will reopen the doors of its beloved new home Pāpiliōnem and the magical island will welcome the People of Tomorrow from all corners of the world, featuring plenty of brand-new and even more astonishing stages. Festival visitors will be able to navigate easily through Pāpiliōnem with a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet – you don’t need special VR goggles – and explore the entire festival site with all the different stages and points of interest in an interactive way together with friends.

Festivalgoers are invited to experience this year’s unique digital event together with friends: dressing up with your best festival outfit, putting up tents or a big screen in your back garden, inviting your beloved ones for a nice barbecue with music and an amazing festival experience, decorating your balcony or throwing a party in your living room – this weekend is all about uniting through the power of music in a responsible and safe way.

The event will run on any device supporting WebGL (except via a browser on your smart tv). For the best HD viewing experience, your download speeds of the internet connection should be 6 Mbit. Is your download speed lower, no worries, you are still able to view the festival.

You are able to watch Tomorrowland Around the World in your local time zone.

  • Friday 16 July: 19:00 – 01:00
  • Saturday 17 July: 17:00 – 02:00

You can watch Tomorrowland Around The World on any device with a stable internet connection. It is advised to watch Tomorrowland Around The World on a big screen like a television or computer for the optimal experience or even better: project it on a big screen!

The best way to mirror your PC onto your TV is by use of an HDMI cable.

  • Plug one end into the HDMI port at the back of your TV and the other into the HDMI port on your laptop (if yours doesn’t have one, add a separate HDMI adapter).
  • Switch the TV to the necessary correct input.
  • The only catch is that you’ll need an HDMI cable, but if you don’t, chances are that one of your friends has one lying around the house somewhere. It’s also available in every multimedia store.
  • Some new Macbooks and Microsoft Surface laptops have a Mini DisplayPort, instead. If you have an HDMI cable, find a ‘Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter’ or a ‘Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable’ to make the connection.

USING CHROMECAST

Another easy way to get your computers’ display onto a TV, this time without even having to use cables.

  • Open Tomorrowland Around the World in your browser and right-click on the settings of the open tab to find ‘cast’.
  • Connect to the device you want to cast the live stream to, and you’re done!
  • The only catch here is that you’ll need a strong and reliable Wi-Fi signal. Try a speed test (http://tomorrow.land/speedtest) to make sure your connection is powerful enough, and make sure your festival set-up isn’t too far away from your router.
  • Though the video stream might be more reliable via cable, it sure is the easiest way to do wireless mirroring
Due to Digital Rights Protection casting will only be possible when you cast your entire screen.

Are you a fully trained Apple user? Then AirPlay Mirroring might be the right set-up for you.

  • Make sure you have an Apple TV box hooked up to your television station, allowing you to use Apple AirPlay to wirelessly mirror the live stream from your Apple device.
  • If you want to switch stages, please refresh and go to the stage you want to view.
  • If your home audio system is already linked to your television or projector, then the audio should also connect automatically during this festival experience.
  • You may want to calibrate your screen to optimal settings with this guideline Youtube video: Projector Brightness Contrast and Color Calibration
Yes, you can keep the party going and relive all Tomorrowland Around The World sets from Sunday July 18, 15:00 CEST until Sunday August 1, 17:00 CEST via the On-demand platform. During this period, you can watch all performances as many times as you like.

Access to the On-demand platform is included in the Festival + On-Demand Pass. Separate On-Demand Passes go on sale on Sunday, July 18.
