Sónar Festival
18 Jun 2026 - 20 Jun 2026
Sónar 2026 returns to Barcelona from 18–20 June 2026, bringing its full programme to the iconic Fira Gran Via — where day and night merge into a continuous celebration of music, art and innovation.
Since 1994, Sónar Festival has stood as a global benchmark for forward-thinking electronic music and multimedia art, where cutting-edge sound collides with digital creativity. What began as a small avant-garde gathering in Barcelona has grown into a cultural institution — uniting DJs, producers, visual artists, technologists, and a worldwide community drawn to tech-infused beats and experimental performance.
The first wave of confirmed artists for 2026 already underlines the festival’s bold direction. Expect heavy-hitter performances and forward-looking sets from the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Kelis, Skepta, Amelie Lens, Modeselektor, Boys Noize, Nia Archives and WhoMadeWho — a mix that spans techno, house, hip-hop and experimental electronic.
In 2026 Sónar unveils a new format for the first time: “by Day” and “by Night” now converge on a single venue, creating a seamless and immersive flow of music, visuals and technology across three days and nights.
Sónar 2026 will be more than just sets. It will pulse with live AV performances, immersive stage design and a cultural programme through Sónar+D — an integral part of the festival known for its focus on creativity, digital art, and future-driven technology. The festival remains a crossroads of sound, innovation and community, and 2026 promises to be one of its boldest editions yet.
