AVA Festival returns to Belfast in 2026, bringing with it the cutting-edge spirit that has made it one of the UK and Europe’s most respected celebrations of electronic music and visual arts. Set once again at the iconic Titanic Slipways, the festival transforms Belfast’s docklands into a vibrant playground of sound, light, and creativity — where music, technology, and community collide in an immersive urban experience.

Since its debut in 2015, AVA (Audio Visual Arts) has become a cultural institution for Ireland and Northern Ireland’s underground scene. What began as a one-day showcase for local DJs has evolved into a global platform that champions the intersection of music and innovation. Each edition combines world-class live performances and DJ sets with groundbreaking visual art, light installations, and AV showcases that highlight Belfast’s growing reputation as a creative capital.

The 2026 edition promises to elevate that legacy even further. With a multi-stage setup featuring both outdoor arenas and industrial warehouses, AVA will once again merge club culture with festival energy. The event also includes the AVA Conference, a daytime gathering of music industry professionals, producers, and artists, hosting workshops, panels, and talks exploring the future of music, production, and digital art.

Although the official lineup for 2026 is yet to be revealed, AVA’s track record speaks for itself. Past editions have featured an incredible mix of talent — from headliners such as Bicep, Peggy Gou, Jon Hopkins, Honey Dijon, DJ Koze, Mall Grab, Helena Hauff, and Overmono, to homegrown heroes like Or:la, Saoirse, and Holly Lester. Attendees can expect a similarly dynamic blend of established icons and emerging artists pushing the boundaries of house, techno, and experimental electronic sounds.

Beyond the music, AVA Festival captures Belfast’s electric energy — a city that’s as much a part of the experience as the artists themselves. The industrial backdrop of the Titanic Quarter, the visual artistry, and the collaborative atmosphere make it a festival unlike any other. As AVA continues to evolve, 2026 promises another unforgettable chapter — one that celebrates creativity, connection, and the powerful rhythm of Belfast’s underground culture.
