Indian Spirit Festival 2027 – Love, Dance and Trance in Germany
Indian Spirit Festival 2027 returns to Eldena in northern Germany, bringing the European festival summer to a spectacular close. Surrounded by the meadows and woodlands of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany’s largest psytrance festival creates a dazzling temporary world where pounding basslines, psychedelic art and an international community come together beneath the late-summer sky.
First held at Heinrichsfelde airfield near Kyritz in 1999, Indian Spirit travelled through several locations before finding its home in Eldena. What began as a gathering for Germany’s Goa and trance community has grown into an internationally recognised celebration, renowned for elaborate stage architecture, powerful sound systems and breathtaking laser shows. Its enduring motto, “Love, Dance & Trance”, captures the open-hearted spirit that keeps generations of festival-goers returning.
The Indian Spirit Festival 2027 line-up has yet to be announced, but another extensive programme of psytrance, progressive trance, Goa, full-on, darkpsy and hi-tech is expected. The previous edition welcomed more than 150 national and international artists across six stages and areas, including Astrix, Ace Ventura, Vini Vici, Neelix, Blastoyz, Avalon, Captain Hook, Electric Universe, GMS, Tristan and Zyce.
From the high-energy Sun Stage and psychedelic Moon Stage to the Mushroom, Nebula, Fire Tent and Chill areas, each corner of the festival offers a different atmosphere. Music flows from vibrant daytime sessions into laser-filled nights, while towering décor, illuminated mandalas and immersive installations transform the expansive grounds into a colourful dreamscape.
Beyond the dancefloors, visitors can take part in yoga, workshops, healing activities, parades and creative sessions. Flow arts around the Fire Place—including juggling, poi, balance and hula-hooping—invite everyone to become part of the spectacle. Market stalls, international food vendors and vegan options add flavour to the experience, while quieter spaces offer time to recharge.
A separate camping ticket is required in addition to festival admission. Visitors can camp beside their vehicle or reserve Special Camping with a pre-assembled tent. Day tickets are also available for shorter visits. Payments across the festival and campsite are cashless, using credit loaded onto the festival wristband.
Indian Spirit Festival 2027 promises another unforgettable gathering filled with music, freedom and connection—a radiant finale where thousands of hearts move together as one.

Accommodation
Camping during the festival requires a Camping Ticket purchased here. All you need is basic camping gear, like a tent, a camping pad and a head torch (so useful in the night). If you don’t want to bring your own tent, the festival offers pre-pitched tents with extra comfort purchased here

BY CAR
From Autobahn 24 change to Autobahn 14 in direction Ludwigslust and take the exit Grabow of A14. Now continue on B191 into direction Eldena, where you will have to turn right. Wait for the signs that lead you to Indian Spirit.
